Project Overview
The design, procurement and construction of Kazeroon power plant cooling system was awarded to Boland Payeh Co. as a turnkey contract. This project consists of three main and one auxiliary cooling towers.
Kazeroon power plant is one of the biggest power plants in Iran, which generates part of required electricity for Fars province. The construction of this project was started in 2004, and was completed on 2007.
In order to increase speed and accuracy and reduce the cost, slip forming method was used to construct Kazeroon cooling system. More than 38,000 m3 of concrete, 7,500 tons of reinforcement rebar and 30,000 m2 formwork has been placed and 120,000 m3 earthwork has been done.
